I love the Arabic Language & I love reading the Quran. The Ayat & the expressions used are amazing. But I am only amazed while my Iman & Taqwa have not been raised! However Allah says:
“The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely”
“The ones who establish prayer, and from what We have provided them, they spend.”
“Those are the believers, truly. For them are degrees [of high position] with their Lord and forgiveness and noble provision.” [8:2-4]
I think this is because I have not followed the reading with application.
Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) described Rasulullah (SAW) as, “His character was just (a reflection of) the Quran.” (Muslim, Abu Dawood, Ahmad)
Sayyid Qutb described the Sahabah as a “Unique Quranic Generation.
I think the conversation below explains it very well.
